Setelah menyelesaikan studi Sastra Inggris di Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Universitas Hasanuddin, Makassar, ia melanjutkan pendidikan master di Goldsmiths, University of London, dengan konsentrasi Kajian Budaya, yang diselesaikan pada 2019 dengan menulis tesis tentang penulis sastra  di Papua Barat. Selama tahun 2014-2016, ia aktif menulis di kolom Literasi, Koran Tempo, Makassar. Sejak kuliah bekerja sebagai penerjemah dan pengajar lepas Bahasa Inggris. Pada 2017, ia adalah pemenang Sayembara Kritik Sastra yang diselenggarakan oleh Dewan Kesenian Jakarta. Sejumlah publikasi di mana ia terlibat sebagai editor pendamping, antara lain: Lontara’ Duri – Asal Usul Kerajaan Tallu Batu Papan (Syukur Foundation, 2021). Pada 2020 awal, ia turut mendirikan The Conjungture, publikasi digital yang berfokus pada fenomena budaya dalam kaitannya dengan isu yang lebih luas. Selama beberapa bulan pada 2021, ia bermukim di Athena, Yunani sebagai peserta program residensi School of Infinite Rehearsal yang diselenggarakan oleh Onassis Air.

He finished his study in English Literature at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University, Makassar, and continued his study at Goldsmiths, University of London, with a concentration in Cultural Studies, which finished in 2019, by writing a master dissertation on literary writers in West Papua. During 2014-2016, he actively wrote in column Literasi, Koran Tempo, Makassar. Since college, he has worked as a translator and a freelance teacher of English. He was the winner of Literary Criticism Competition held by the Jakarta Arts Council in 2017. In 2020, with some of his colleagues, he co-founded “The Conjuncture”, a digital publication focusses on the intersection between culture and broader social phenomena. In the same year, he became an assistant editor of Lontara’ Duri: Asal Usul Kerajaan Tallu Batu Papan (Syukur Foundation, 2021). In September-October 2021, participated in The School Of Infinite Rehearsals, Onassis Air (Inter)National Artistic Research Residency Program in Athens, Greece.
